Why give?
Center for Healing exists because our community is hungry for real connection — to ourselves, to each other, and to the wisdom traditions that came before us. This November, that mission travels further than ever: three of our practitioners are journeying up the Amazon to sit with the Yawanawá, an indigenous community that fought to reclaim the songs, ceremonies, and language nearly taken from them.
This is not tourism. It's an invitation, extended in trust by teachers actively rebuilding what was almost erased. Every gift toward this journey honors that trust — covering travel, lodging, and the ceremonial teaching fee paid directly to the Yawanawá community.
What we learn won't stay with the three travelers. It comes home as a Song Workshop and a Drum-Making Workshop, open to our whole community — and to you. Your gift doesn't just send someone to Brazil. It brings something back to share.

Your gift funds the delegation's travel, lodging, and the ceremonial teaching fee paid directly to the Yawanawá community — the only portion held back covers airfare for our three practitioners.
What do I receive for giving?
Every gift comes with our gratitude and a small token of thanks. Gifts of $250+ include a seat at our Song Workshop; $500+ includes a seat at both the Song and Drum-Making Workshops, plus a handcrafted gift from the Yawanawá. Full levels are listed above.
